On the shaded central square of Pyrgos, Kantouni has been a family-run fixture since 1985, serving generous, no-nonsense Greek cooking under whispering pine trees. The grill is the draw: kontosouvli, lamb chops, grilled octopus and cheese balls, all at fair village prices. It is the easy, all-day table locals point first-timers toward.
