Mast Weinbistro

Mast opened in 2018 on Porzellangasse near the Naschmarkt, quickly the city's reference natural-wine bistro alongside Heunisch & Erben. The kitchen runs a six-course chef's menu plus a small a la carte; the cooking is bistronomie-format modern Austrian, the wine list runs maybe 250 references with a heavy Burgenland-and-Steiermark natural-grower bias. The room is small (thirty seats), the kitchen open, the staff young and serious about the list. For the audience that wants the Pramerl & the Wolf register without the Michelin tasting-menu commitment, Mast is the right booking.
