Le Stanze

Le Stanze occupies the 16th-century former chapel of Palazzo Bentivoglio, keeping the vaulted ceilings, frescoes and ornate columns intact above a modern bar and bistro. It plays the contemporary key with wine by the glass, well-made cocktails and an aperitivo buffet, filling fast from early evening. Few rooms in Bologna make a more dramatic backdrop for a drink.
