Rokka Beach & Restaurant
Yahşi seafront fine-dining beach restaurant since 2014, Aegean steakhouse-and-seafood with Travelers' Choice and a clear view of Kos.
Long sand bay between Ortakent and Akyarlar, family-summer Bodrum
Yahşi is the long sandy bay between Ortakent and Akyarlar on the peninsula's southern coast, a flat strip of beach clubs, small boutique villas and family-run fish rooms anchored by the dolmuş road that connects the south coast. It is the chapter's Bodrum-summer-with-children answer: shallow water, the longest sand bay on the peninsula, day-beds rented by the season at the established beach clubs. The eating tilts toward beachside grills and the late-afternoon meze run; the kitchen-led restaurants concentrate in the inland Yahşi village rather than the beach strip. Crowd is half İzmir-Ankara families, half the second-generation Bodrum cosmopolitan who chose Yahşi over Bitez for the depth of sand.
