Founded by Maurice Bernachon in 1953 and still family-run, Bernachon is one of the rare houses in France to make its own chocolate from the bean, roasting cocoa from Venezuela, Ecuador, Madagascar and beyond. The Brotteaux boutique sells the legendary Palet d'Or and the Président cake, with an adjoining tea room, Bernachon Passion, for breakfast, lunch and an afternoon sit-down. A Living Heritage landmark.
