Marché du Cours Saleya
Vieux Nice
The morning produce-and-flower market that feeds the old town
The morning market that gives the quarter its name: small Provençal producers, fishmongers at Place de la Gare du Sud, cheesemongers and farmhouse stalls spreading along Avenue Malausséna six mornings a week. This is the working market locals actually shop, not a photo-op terrace ring. Come Saturday for the fullest spread of honeys, cheeses and just-landed catch.
