Alici
Scotti's one-star terrace, named for the coast's anchovies.
A tiny, discreet fishing village, birthplace of the Santa Rosa pastry, with seafood dining over one of the coast's prettiest bays.
Conca dei Marini is one of the coast's smallest and most discreet villages, a fishing hamlet of white houses folded around a tiny harbour between Amalfi and Positano. Its claim to fame is sweet: the sfogliatella Santa Rosa, the shell-shaped pastry filled with ricotta and candied fruit, was created in the convent that crowns the cliff above. The dining is correspondingly intimate and serious, led by Alici at the Borgo Santandrea, where a refined seafood kitchen looks out over one of the prettiest stretches of the whole coast. Il Refettorio brings a more relaxed, produce-led table to the same quiet setting. It is a place to slow down entirely and let the village set the pace.
