Mavi Bar
Bodrum
The 1983 stone-house jazz bar where Yeni Türkü and Erkan Oğur played before anyone had heard of them
An old-Bodrum back-alley bar on Banka Sokak, rock and 80s, signature mandarin Sandoz
Adamik tucks into the Banka Sokak enclave behind the main strip and has worked the same room since the 1980s: low ceilings, dim lamps, a bar built around a rock-and-80s record library and a famously stiff house cocktail called Sandoz, mixed with Bodrum mandarins. The crowd is older Bodrum regulars and Istanbullu second-home owners; bouncers and ticket-buying lines are not part of the format. After-midnight is when the room turns on.
Walk in after midnight; ask for the Sandoz, served in a shaker and meant to be shared. The room reads as a backstreet bar, not a club, dress accordingly.
