Founded in 1966 amid the vineyards near Alagni in the Peza zone, Lyrarakis is famed for reviving near-extinct indigenous varieties such as Dafni, Plyto and Melissaki. Guided visits walk the vines, cellar and a small vine museum before structured tastings of estate wines. A serious, bookable cornerstone of the Heraklion wine arc.
