The format is semi-buffet and à la carte, the produce mostly local and organic, and the cooking aims to read like a refined village kitchen rather than hotel food. Breakfast runs an authentic Aegean spread, dinners centre on garden vegetables, grilled fish and lamb. Saturday evenings the room turns over to Taverna Nights, a curated mezze buffet with a long drinks list and a more social tempo.
Saturday Taverna Nights are the standout, book an outer terrace table by the pool, order the curated mezze buffet and the lamb of the day. For breakfast, the village-style spread is what to wake up early for; the Aegean honeycomb and the menemen sit above hotel-buffet expectations.
