The Schneider Weisse mothership, 1872, Weisswurst until noon, Aventinus all night
The flagship tavern of Schneider Weisse, Germany's oldest wheat beer brewery, occupying the same Tal address since 1872. The Weisswurst arrives in its tureen of poaching water before noon (the rule still holds), the menu carries the rest of the canon, Schweinshaxe, Brotzeit boards, Kaspressknödelsuppe, and the tap pours the full Schneider range up to the Aventinus doppelbock. Loud, wood-panelled, Schwabing-trekkers and Tal locals on the same bench.
The chapter's central beer-hall pick when Augustiner-Bräustuben is too far west or already full. Same Tal block as Wirtshaus zum Straubinger, both pass the audience filter; Hofbräuhaus, two streets over, does not.
