| Last reviewed: May 2026 On Westendstraße, where Schwanthalerhöhe finally settles into its working-class self, Restaurant Athen has been serving the local Greek community and the Bavarians who married in. The menu is short and unapologetic, gyros done properly, kalamarakia, mezedes, the kind of Greek olive oil they actually sell you in half-litre bottles to take home. Family-run, quick, friendly, no English menu nonsense. This is the Greek night the Westend earned.
