The De Simone deck over the sea where spaghetti alla Nerano reigns.
Boat-access beach shack grilling the morning's catch
Reached by the little red-fish shuttle boat from Positano's main pier, this Laurito-beach shack is a barefoot Amalfi rite. Waiters in swim trunks bring grilled fish, mussels, mozzarella melted on lemon leaves and carafes of chilled rosé to wooden tables on the pebbles. The setting is the draw, but the simple cooking genuinely holds up.
Boat shuttle leaves Positano roughly every 30 minutes from late morning; lunch-focused and seasonal (about May to September). A beach room kept for the cooking, not the scene.
