Soho Pre- and Post-Theatre
An early seating at Quo Vadis or Bocca di Lupo, the curtain at Shaftesbury Avenue, then Barrafina counter snacks and a Swift nightcap, Soho's theatreland rhythm done right.
BAO Soho
Queue starts twenty minutes before opening; lunch is the quieter window. Order the Classic bao, the Confit Pork bao, and the Taiwanese fried chicken, three of you can comfortably eat for twenty pounds a head. Save BAO Fitzrovia for the sit-down version with sake.

Barrafina Dean Street
Arrive at 12:00 sharp for lunch, the doors open at noon and the first wave seats inside fifteen minutes. The terrace counter is the underrated seat and walks up faster. Order the tortilla, the milk-fed lamb sweetbreads, and a pre-meal Manzanilla; ask the bar for sherry pairings.

Bocca di Lupo
Sit at the marble counter facing the kitchen, book it specifically. Order three small plates per person across three provinces, then one large plate to share. Walk to Gelupo afterwards for the ricotta-and-sour-cherry. Late kitchen until 23:00 makes this a real post-theatre option.
