Bodega de la Ardosa
Malasaña
1892 bodega, vermut de grifo and one of Madrid's best tortillas
A tiny, unreformed 1929 tavern on Calle San Andrés, protected as a Traditional Madrid Establishment, famous for the Yayo, its house mix of vermouth, gin and soda. Cheap, crowded, cheerful and entirely unpretentious, with simple tapas to match. A piece of genuine castizo Malasaña that has refused to gentrify.
