Founded in the early 1970s by Giovanni Ramaglia and his wife Dora, this minuscule room on a Chiaia side-street has the reputation for the most impeccable raw and cooked fish in the city. The unwritten signature is linguine alle vongole finished with a chorus of singing waiters. A cult address where the bill faces the sea but the kitchen, not the view, is the point.
Tiny and famous; reserve. Cash-heavy, no-frills room. The 'famiglia di pescatori dal 1973' pedigree is the real thing.
