| Last reviewed: May 2026 Cédric Grolet's standalone Opéra boutique is where the Instagram-famous fruit pastries, apples, lemons, hazelnuts that look exactly like the originals but break to reveal cream and curd, are actually accessible without booking the Meurice. Click-and-collect runs daily, the salon serves bakery items, viennoiseries, plated desserts and a serious tea selection. Grolet's chocolate factory Cédric et la Chocolaterie opened October 2025 a few doors down. The line on weekends is real; weekday mid-morning is the play.
Editor's Tip
Click-and-collect in advance, saves 30-60 minutes of queueing on weekends. Mid-morning Wednesday is the calmest window.
