| Ultima revisione: May 2026 Opened for the 1972 Munich Olympics in the basement of the Bayerischer Hof, Trader Vic's is the only original-fit-out tiki bar still operating worldwide, Tahitian and Hawaiian carvings, Luzon shells, hand-painted Fijian tikis, all of it from when the chain was still personally specified. The drinks programme treats the canon (Mai Tai, Fog Cutter, Scorpion) as a discipline rather than a joke; the food crosses Hawaii, India, and Polynesia and is meaningfully better than tiki convention. Recently refurbished. The room is open evenings only and gets atmospheric around 22:00.
