Founded nearly fifty years ago as an affordable shellfish stop for fishermen and workers, this family-run marisqueira keeps its plain-spoken essence even as the list has grown to lobster and santola. Shrimp, clams, mussels and caldeiradas come without ceremony or markup, the way Matosinhos used to eat.
Unpretentious and well-priced for the area; a local antidote to the tourist grills. Closed Mondays.
