Salvatore De Riso opened his laboratory in his native Minori in 1989 and is now president of Italy's master-pastry academy (AMPI). Steps from the seafront, the shop turns out more than sixty cakes and pastries, headlined by the ricotta-and-pear Torta Ricotta e Pere and a refined delizia al limone built on IGP Amalfi lemons. As serious as Italian pastry gets, and worth the trip to Minori.
Open daily into the small hours in season. Often busy; the seafront terrace fills fast on summer evenings.
