Caffè Calce
Ravello
Ravello's coffee bar of record, on the corner of Piazza Duomo
A 1950s citrus garden famous for lemon granita and delizia
Founded in 1950 by Giacomino Russo and still family-run, La Zagara sits in a working citrus grove tucked behind Via dei Mulini, its terrace shaded by orange and lemon trees. The artisan pastry counter is the draw, the lemon granita and the delizia al limone built on local Amalfi citrus. A cool, fragrant refuge a few steps from the crowds.
Named for the orange-blossom (zagara) that scents its garden. No reservations taken; the garden becomes a more lively bar in the evening.
