Van Kahvaltı Lounge
Bitez
Garden-set Van-style serpme kahvaltı on Bergamut Caddesi, the eastern Anatolian breakfast that Bodrum was missing.
Scandinavian-named specialty coffee shop on Bitez's Kanuni Sultan Süleyman line, the bay's third-wave corner.
Fika takes its name from the Swedish ritual of stopping for coffee with friends, and the room reads exactly that way: a bright, plant-filled corner on Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Caddesi, the inland village line that the peninsula's specialty coffee crowd has been quietly filling in over the last two seasons. The bar runs a proper espresso programme, brews and pour-overs by the cup, and a pastry list led by croissants that get filled to order. The room is small, the morning trade leans local, and the shop carries a curated rotation of local pottery and leather alongside the cups. The chapter holds Fika as the Bitez answer to the third-wave corners Caddebostan and Karaköy have built over the same period, the bay's first credible specialty room rather than another all-day brasserie with a coffee menu.
The pour-overs are the marker rather than the espresso; ask for the filter rotation. Croissants are filled to order; arrive before 10:30 in season. The pottery and leather rotation is small but worth a look on the way out.
