Housed in the restored mansion of Captain Polyxingis, Peskesi is the flagship of Heraklion's UNESCO Gastronomy reputation, sourcing from its own farm at Harasso. Chef Christos Schoinarakis revives rare legumes, wild greens, slow lamb and ancient Cretan techniques, winning Best Organic Restaurant in Europe in 2025.
