Set in a restored 16th-century Venetian mansion on a quiet Topanas alley, Serenissima is led by chef Iosif Petrof, whose Lyon training shows in technique applied to Cretan produce. The format is three changing set menus, Earth, Sea and Vegan, refreshed roughly every twenty days, plus a la carte and a large wine selection. Refined, elegant and quiet rather than showy.
