Philippe Bousquet has cooked at Atelier Gourmet since 2005, but it's the past few years, and a second Michelin star, that have put this Rablstrasse address on the international short-list. The room is small (35 seats, a tiny terrace), the menu is Mediterranean-leaning modern French, the wine list is curated by managing director Raffaella Correngia with a deep Burgundy and Italian-natural section. Service is precise without ceremony. This is the Au-Isar room you book three weeks ahead for the visiting parents.
