Café Jasmin
Maxvorstadt
An untouched 1955 café interior, Maxvorstadt time-capsule
Bookstore-café-stage, the quieter heart of Schellingstraße
At the back door of the LMU campus, a fair-faced concrete and timber Lesecafé with long shared tables. Vegan snacks and house-made lemonades by day, a serious filter-coffee menu through the afternoon, stand-up, slam, small concerts and readings at night. Half the room is bookshop, literature, philosophy, graphic novels.
The coffee end of the Schellingstraße trio (Atzinger – Lost Weekend – Café Altschwabing).
