Open since 1973 in a narrow old-town townhouse, with only around two dozen covers spread over three floors. The kitchen keeps to delicate Catalan recipes and fresh fish, much of the produce from its own biodynamic garden. The room that defined Alghero's Catalan table.

Just 24 seats, so reservations are mandatory; the upper floors are the most atmospheric. A genuine half-century institution, not a revival.
