Ground floor is full Bavarian, Schweinshaxe, white sausage, Tafelspitz, the proper roast pork, under wood beams; upstairs is more international with fish and Austrian dishes. Sunday brunch through the cooler months is a Munich fixture. This is the local-correct answer when the question is 'where's the Bavarian room that isn't a tourist tavern'.
