Nook works the format Istanbul has been chasing since Karaköy started making cocktails seriously: a small indoor room with couches, a cocktail bar that takes its time, and a courtyard that fills early. The drinks are crafted not slung, the music sits below conversation, and the staff will tell you the story of what you ordered if you ask. It is the village's quietest cocktail address by design and the one a London visitor will recognise the grammar of.

Ask the bartender what they're working on rather than ordering off the list, the off-menu builds tend to be the better drinks. After eleven the indoor couches are the seats to hold; the terrace turns over fast.
