Notting Hill's Michelin-starred neighbourhood brasserie, wood-fired grill, retained star 2026
Owned by Chris D'Sylva (also of the Notting Hill Fish Shop and Supermarket of Dreams next door) and run in the kitchen by Max Coen, formerly of Frantzén, Ikoyi and Kitchen Table, Dorian has held a Michelin star through both the 2025 and 2026 guides while looking and behaving like a busy local brasserie. The wood grill is the through-line: Cornish day-boat fish, Limousin veal chop with vin jaune, the simplest produce treated with three-star technique. The room is small, loud and under-styled in the right way; this is the Notting Hill booking when Core and the Ledbury are full.
Walk-ins are accepted at the bar but the dining room books a fortnight ahead. The veal chop and the bread course are non-negotiable.
