| Last reviewed: May 2026 Opso opened on Paddington Street in 2014 from the team behind Athens' two-Michelin-star Funky Gourmet and reads as the Greek restaurant Marylebone always wanted but rarely got: contemporary, ingredient-driven, mostly direct from Greek producers. The cooking is small-plate sharing in the modern register, taramasalata with smoked cod roe, lamb gyros with whipped tzatziki, octopus and fava, alongside heavier mains like lamb kleftiko. The room is bright, white-tiled, low-key, and serves Saturday and Sunday brunch with elevated bougatsa and Greek-yoghurt plates.
