Pacific Times

An imposing corner site on Baaderstraße near the Isar, Pacific Times has been the Gärtnerplatzviertel's go-to cocktail bar with a proper kitchen for over two decades. Wide windows that throw the room open onto the crossroads in summer, dark wood and warm light in winter, an across-the-board cocktail list that handles the classics correctly before showing off, and a Pan-Asian-leaning small-plates menu that makes it easy to make a meal of it. The crowd is local creative and tech rather than hotel-tourist, and the bar volume is conversational, easier than Zephyr if you actually want to talk.
